What to bring

All sessions are held in our woodland so please check the weather and dress accordingly.

Day Sessions

Suitable Clothing: All activities are outside so the your clothes so they should be warm and comfortable. We suggest wearing old or inexpensive clothes that are suitable for the outdoors & being round a campfire. Be mindful of the season as dress appropriately for that temperature, ensuring in hotter weather you have sun shade and cream.

Good strong walking boots are best for comfort and support. No open toed shoes!

Cooking/Eating tools:  If food is included in your course-

  • Small water container
  • Knife, fork, spoon -or a ‘Spork’
  • Plate/ Bowl
  • Cup – Resealable coffee cups are good if you like a hot drink throughout

Medication: We do have a first aid kit at camp, however, if you are required medically to take any form of medication, can you please bring enough to cover your stay (plus spare in case of any losses), in a waterproof container and clearly labelled.

Over Night Sessions

For our over night sessions please being the following extras items.  

  • Sleeping bag
  • Camping pillow if preferred
  • Insulated sleeping mat
  • Gardening gloves
  • Torch with fresh batteries and spare set
  • Insect repellant
  • Whistle
  • Antibac wipes/soap
  • Tea or Coffee + whitener
  • Personal first aid kit
  • Washlets/ Micro towel to freshen up
  • Spare clothing
